The Western Ghats is one of the most beautiful mountain ranges in India. It extends from Gujrat to Kerala (North to South) covering Maharashtra, Goa, Karnataka, and Tamil Nadu. The total length of the Western Ghats is 1600 km  with a width of 100 km  covering an area of 160,000 square kilometers. The highest peak in the Western Ghats is Anamudi, Kerala in the Eravikulam National Park with an elevation of 2,695 m   (8,842 ft) .

Sunday, January 19, 2020 Another year has now ended with the start of the new dawn of 2020, giving us so many opportunities and hopes to fulfill our dreams and goals. I had a great 2019 with so many awesome memories, great life experiences, lots of learning and silly mistakes. I had met a lot of people and learned about a few new cultures and definitely "the food" 😋 . To be exact, I had a total of 33 visits to different places including an international trip to Sri Lanka.

Thursday, November 21, 2019 I just came back from a five days trip from Sri Lanka and was not planning to visit anywhere till November 2019 due to my sister's marriage! Fortunately, one of my friend's marriage was also fixed for December 2nd which I would not be able to attend. Since he lives in Chennai and I was in Madurai, we decided to meet before his marriage somewhere in between the two cities. Initially, we were exploring all hill stations that comes between Madurai and Chennai and made a small list including Yelagiri, Kalrayan Hill Forests, and Yercaud.

The huge height of the falls, spectacular view and the train track that passes by the falls make them very stunning.
